Clothes

We are in need of clothes in good condition so that we can offer a good choice to the homeless men and women using our clothing store. If you are thinking of helping in this way then most of the clothes we need are men’s casual clothing. 88% of the people using the Day Centre are men and we tend to receive plenty of donations of suits. Obviously men’s socks and underwear are also vital, if someone wants to buy clothes for The Passage.

Towels

With hundreds of people coming in for a shower we need to issue a lot of towels. We do not need new towels as many people have towels which are still good drying towels when they buy or are given new ones. If you would like to free up some space perhaps you could help The Passage with used towels in good condition.

Toiletries

It is helpful to offer the homeless people in the Day Centre and in our hostels toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap.

Other goods

We are always ready to be offered help in many other forms such as stationery, furniture, crockery, etc., which means we do not need to buy similar goods ourselves. As we do not have much storage space, please contact us if you are able to give us other items in case we are not able to accept them at that time.
